The Kent Health Visiting Service will be in touch later on in your pregnancy to offer support and guidance. We see parents after 28 weeks of pregnancy either virtually or at your home. This appointment is an opportunity to discuss any questions you have and go through some useful information for you and your baby's health and wellbeing including; feeding your baby, encouraging baby's development and general parenting as well as introducing you to your local Health Visiting Team. You can find out more about that appointment in the video below.
We're also here to help you prepare to care for and feed your baby. You can talk with your health visitor at your antenatal appointment and ask any questions you may have to help you make your decision.
You can also find out more about developing a close relationship with your baby and understanding responsive feeding however you choose to feed your baby with our free ready for baby course.
